Upon discovering a uniquely-shaped piece of scrap wood, Jacque fine-tuned the form, and paired it with a pit fired ceramic vessel. She then added an unconventional sense of balance at the base. Pit firing gives the unique flash marks from the fire. The inset texture is glazed. Wood is cherry.
